*those who don't partake of the MCU television programs.

Ana Jarvis (played by Lotte Verbeek on Agent Carter) is Edwin Jarvis' wife. Like him, she lives proximal to and works for Howard Stark, primarily around the house (though cooking, bless her, is not her strong suit) but occasionally in the lab as well, though she's essentially untrained; like him, though to a lesser degree, she has helped Peggy Carter with missions. She is Jewish and her husband risked his life and military career to help her escape Europe during the Holocaust. She also survived being shot by Whitney Frost, although it rendered her unable to have children. Despite her history of tragedy, she's a fairly cheerful person and well-liked by all who meet her. It's also easy to extrapolate that she would have been involved in young Tony Stark's life, although clearly her good influence didn't entirely remedy the downsides of his childhood.

comments
